Pompa Grubu
The pump group covers three main pump families that meet needs ranging from precise chemical dosing to viscous fluid transfer and general-purpose liquid transport: dosing pumps, gear pumps and centrifugal pumps. As the authorized dealer for SEKO in the field of dosing pumps, Vanera provides supply, selection and commissioning support backed by the assurance of genuine products; with our gear and centrifugal pump solutions, we also cover your entire process line from a single source.
Dosing Pumps (Authorized SEKO Dealer)
Dosing pumps are used to inject a chemical fluid into a process or line at a predetermined, generally very low flow rate with high precision; they are widely used in water and wastewater treatment, pool disinfection, food and beverage, chemical and other industrial process applications. Vanera is the authorized dealer in Turkey for SEKO, a global manufacturer in this field, and offers its solenoid-driven, motor-driven mechanical diaphragm and peristaltic dosing pump families with the assurance of genuine products and technical support.
Dosing pump selection takes into account the properties of the chemical to be dosed (viscosity, corrosiveness, tendency to evaporate), the required flow range and dosing precision, the control type (manual, signal-following, pH/ORP proportional) and installation conditions. For details on the SEKO product range and the authorized dealership, see the SEKO profile on our partners page.
Gear Pumps
Gear pumps are positive-displacement pumps that move fluid from the suction side to the discharge side through the rotation of interlocking gears. They are preferred for transferring oil, fuel, vegetable oil, resin and other viscous fluids in general, providing a smooth, pulsation-free flow proportional to rotational speed.
Thanks to their positive-displacement operating principle, gear pumps offer an advantage over centrifugal pumps in high-viscosity fluids where centrifugal pumps cannot run efficiently, and in transfer tasks requiring a constant flow rate similar to dosing; the fluid's lubricating properties and viscosity are decisive factors in choosing the right pump size and material.
Centrifugal Pumps
Centrifugal pumps are the most widely used pump type in industry, moving liquid using the centrifugal force imparted to the fluid by a rotating impeller. They are preferred for water supply, irrigation, HVAC, fire fighting, general process transfer and applications requiring large flow rates of low-to-medium-viscosity fluids.
Centrifugal pump selection takes into account the desired flow rate and head, the fluid's properties, the system characteristic curve and the pump's operating point (efficient operating range); an incorrectly sized pump can result in low efficiency and premature wear.
Choosing the Right Pump for Your Application
Dosing pumps stand out for precise, low-flow chemical dosing; gear pumps for the regular transfer of high-viscosity fluids; and centrifugal pumps for large-flow, general liquid transfer. Once you provide your fluid type, flow/pressure needs and automation requirements, we determine the right pump family and model together, including SEKO dosing pumps.
