Stainless Steel Valves

Stainless steel valves are the standard choice for corrosive fluids, hygienic process requirements and demanding environmental conditions. Vanera's portfolio includes AISI304, AISI316 and super duplex body options across ball, butterfly, knife-gate and piston valves, as well as check valves and cryogenic valves.

Ball Valves
Threaded, flanged and wafer types with AISI304/AISI316 body, ball and stem.
Y-Type Piston Valves
VR500 series: body, stem and actuator entirely in AISI316 stainless steel.
Butterfly Valves
Rubber-seated butterfly valves with AISI316 body and disc options.
Knife Gate Valves
Wafer-type valves with AISI316 body and AISI304/AISI316 gate options.
Check Valves
VR302 dual-plate check valves with AISI316 and super duplex body options.
Cryogenic Valves
SS304/SS316 body valves suitable for service down to -196°C.

Why Stainless Steel Valves?

Thanks to its corrosion resistance, high-temperature performance and cleanable surface, stainless steel delivers long service life in chemical, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, seawater and treatment applications. It lowers total cost of ownership in environments where cast or carbon steel bodies corrode quickly.

AISI304, AISI316 and Super Duplex

AISI304 is the standard for general industrial applications. AISI316, with its molybdenum content, offers higher resistance in chlorinated and acidic environments and is common in food and chemical processes. Super duplex is the most durable option for seawater and highly chloride-concentrated fluids.

On the sealing side, PTFE gaskets and packings are selected together with EPDM/NBR/Viton elastomer options depending on the fluid.

Our Stainless Steel Valve Solutions

We offer fully stainless body-ball-stem ball valves up to PN63; VR500 piston valves in AISI316 from body to actuator; butterfly and knife-gate valves with AISI316 body and stainless disc/gate; and check valves in AISI316 and super duplex options. Datasheets for all of these can be downloaded from this page.
