VR-E Series Industrial Electric Actuators
Electric actuators provide 0-90° rotation via an electric motor for the remote and automatic control of butterfly valves, ball valves, segment ball valves, and dampers. The VR-E series offers manual opening and closing with a handwheel in case of a power outage.
It is used in iron & steel, chemical, mining, cement, marine, paper, water treatment, and HVAC systems.
Technical Specifications
Models provide output torque from 50 Nm to 5,000 Nm; supply options are 24V DC, 110V DC, 24V AC, 110V AC, 220V AC, and 380V AC. The protection class is standard IP67, with IP68 optional; an optional Exd II C T5 certified housing is offered for explosive atmospheres.
It mounts without an adaptor to compatible valves via an ISO 5211 flange connection (F07-F14). Standard equipment includes 2 open/2 closed mechanical limit switches, adjustable torque switches, built-in thermal protection, and an anti-condensation heater. The operating temperature for the standard model is -20°C / +70°C.
On-Off and Proportional Control
Proportional control can be performed with a 4-20 mA or 0-10 V signal; potentiometer options for position feedback and a local control unit for field operation are available. This allows VR-E actuators to serve in both on-off and control valve applications.
