Cryogenic valves are special valves designed for the safe control of liquefied gases (oxygen, nitrogen, argon, LNG, CO₂) at temperatures down to -196°C. The extended bonnet design keeps the packing outside the freezing zone.
Vanera's portfolio includes globe control valves for oxygen lines (DN15-DN500, PN16-PN630) and cryogenic valves for liquefied gas lines (DN15-DN100, PN16-PN50). They are used in air separation plants, gas filling facilities, CO₂ extraction lines, and cryogenic storage systems.
The design temperature is -196°C / +120°C. The body is SS304 or SS316 stainless steel (1.4308 body-bonnet casting); on oxygen lines the trim can be Monel or stainless steel. The soft seat is 25% carbon-filled PTFE, and the packing is PTFE V-rings.
Design and manufacturing follow EN 12516, and inspection and testing follow EN 12266. With pressure classes up to PN630, it meets the requirements of high-pressure oxygen lines.
The globe body design is suitable for precise flow control: proportional or on-off operation can be selected with a pneumatic or electric actuator; a manual handwheel configuration is also available.
