VR500 Series Pneumatic Piston Valve
Pneumatic piston valves are process valves with a high cycle life that open and close on an air signal via an integrated piston actuator. The 50° angled Y-type body design widens the flow path to provide a low pressure drop.
The VR500 series offers longer durability than ball valves in demanding processes, including vacuum, aggressive chemicals, and high-viscosity fluids. It is used in chemical, food & beverage, water & wastewater, oil & gas, and vacuum applications.
Technical Specifications
Manufactured in the DN15-DN100 (1/2"-4") threaded connection range, with a maximum working pressure of 16 bar. The body, seat, stem, and actuator are AISI316 stainless steel; the seal is PTFE, the O-ring is NBR, and the piston O-ring is Viton.
The actuator spring is 65Mn steel, and the valve spring is AISI304 stainless steel; the air connection is 1/8". Contact our team for normally closed or normally open configurations.
